An early Worcester covered sugar bowl, marked on the underside with the crescent moon in blue underglaze indicating ca. 1755-1792. The ivory porcelain body and lid have a swirling fluted shape and are hand decorated in a gilt flower and foliate border pattern with cobalt blue underglaze in the designs.
