1024. A Delicate Royal Vienna Urn with Lid
A delicate Royal Vienna urn with lid, made in two parts and bolted together at the stem, ca. 1880. The ovoid urn has handles at either end and measures approx. 7-1/4 to the top of the finial x 6"W x 3-1/4"D. The sides are decorated with scenic pictures; one of two cherubs riding on dolphins in the sea and the other with three cherubs and a maiden holding a tamborine in an idyllic woodland scene. Above and below the scenes are aqua glazes with elaborate overglazes in gilt over enamel. The underside has a blue Royal Vienna mark in the underglaze and "26075...Tanz" in gilt script. A beautifully executed piece.

A Viennese oval bowl. Shallow porcelain oval bowl with gilt handles, dark cobalt blue ground and transfer decorated center of a beautiful young woman. Hand decorated with enamels, bottom hallmarked with underglaze blue mark and red stamp, also decorators' numbers. Approx. 3-1/2"T x 11"L x 7-5/8"W.

1026. A Tiffany & Co. Mustache Cup and Plate
A large Tiffany & Co. mustache cup and plate, in glazed and gilt porcelain, the plate 8-5/8" in diameter, and the cup 4-3/4" in diameter. The cup has a bright pink glaze inside, matching the center of the plate and the back rim of the plate. Both are decorated with raise sprays of three-leaf clovers in gilt. The cup has a transfer printed mark on the underside of Tiffany & Co. and Brownfield's China (partially rubbed), and the plate has a larger and more elaborate transfer and Brownfield's impressed under the glaze.

1027. A Pretty Antique Clock with S. Marti & Cie Movement in a Porcelain Case
A pretty antique porcelain figural clock, the rococo style body hand decorated in pink, aqua and picked out in gilt, next to a figural representation of a gentleman helping a lovely lady to cross a small waterfall. The clock has a cream enameled face with Roman numerals for the hours and with Arabic numerals for the minutes. The face is covered by a hinged beveled glass enclosed in a beaded metal rim, approx. 4-1/2" in diameter. The porcelain case overall measures 11"H x 9"W x 4-1/2"D and is marked with crossed swords in blue underglaze on the back, in the Meissen style. Inside the clock the backplate is marked with the circular mark of "S Marti ed Cie" and "Medaille de Bronze" (Samuel Marti & Son) ca. 1889. The pendulum is present. The underside is covered with a flat piece of wood braced in at a later time with ceramic paste. Apart from the damages, this is an excellent example.

A pair of polychrome decorated Majolica falcons, each standing on a mound base and measuring approx. 10-3/4"H x 3"W x 5"D. Each is marked on the underside "PP". The bases are glazed in an orchid color with iron red dots. The plumage is decorated in green, lavender, gold and citron with the head and feet in iron red and the beak in gold. The surface is further embellished with linear decorations in a brown glaze.

1032. A Pair of Charming Capodimonte Figurals
A charming and delightfully complex pair of Capodimonte figurals in colorless creamy glaze, each on its own circular stand, approx. 14"H x 5" in diameter at the widest. Each has a cheerful scene with a lovely lady bedecked in flowers seated atop a treetrunk. Below her are cavorting cherubs in various poses on an elaborately fashioned openwork base with applied bocage. The separate bases below are cast in an openwork relief of classical lion faces. The upper portions are each marked on the underside in blue with the crown over the "N" mark.

1033. An Exceptionally Pretty Three-Piece Porcelain Lavabo
An exceptionally pretty three-piece hand decorated porcelain lavabo, consisting of a tall container with a separate lid meant to be hung on a wall, and a large standing container meant to stand on a table below to catch the water. The central container with the lid measures 27"H x 9-1/2"W x 8-1/2"D from the back to the pewter spigot. It has applied ornaments and faces on either side and behind the spigot. The lid terminates with a cupid-like figure at the top. The slightly ovoid lobbed bowl stands on four figural feet and has faces at the sides for handles. It measures 19"W x 11"D x 4-1/4"H. Overall the pieces are hand decorated in rose designs, light ochre on the figural elements, and has flourishes of multicolor flowers overall. The back of the container is marked in the underglaze by the decorator "VP" and "France".

A pair of Wedgwood creamware urns in a glossy clear glaze, each approx. 9"H x 3-3/4" in diameter at the shoulder, with beautiful Neoclassical detailing, including bearded faces with curving horns at either side and a pinecone shaped finial. Both have an impressed "Wedgwood" mark on the underside, though they are not exactly alike and may have been made at different times. They are made in sections bolted together.
