323. Jean Lambert-Rucki (French, 1888-1967)
"Corpus Christi". Cast bronze with brown patina, affixed to a simple wooden cross, the bronze measuring approx. 8-1/2"H and overall with the cross 11" x 9-3/4". There are apparently several versions of this in different sizes and finishes done by Lambert-Rucki. This one is signed on the side.

324. After Max Bourgeois (French, 1901-?)
A gilt bronze figural of a classical maiden and shepherd atop a polished walnut base, 7-5/8" in diameter, measuring approx. 17-1/4"H overall. The young man tenderly regards the maid with his right hand on her shoulder. The maiden with roses in her hair holds out her hand which once held an object. "Max. Bourgeois...Sculp" is stamped in the metal base.

325. A Carved Wood Mermaid
A carved wood folk art figure in the shape of a mermaid, with the underside deeply incised with the image of an eagle over a shield with the date 1877. The mermaid is suspended from a newer chain and holds both of her hands aloft to hold the sign. She is coated with a heavy layer of brown weathered outdoor paint, and measuring approx. 28"L x 7-1/2"W x 15"H. She would probably have had a hand mirror in one hand and a comb in the other, or fish.

Bronze stag on a marble inclined base, signed on the base "De Roche" in block letters. The tan marble is highly polished and has rose tone veins. There is applied patina to antlers in black, and overall the bronze has a warm brown patina. Very life-like. Approx. 21"T x 15-1/2"L x 10"W.

A solid bronze figurine depicting David with the head of Goliath, 11-3/4"H x 4" x 3-1/8", with a roughly cast surface and a copper/brown patina. There are no maker's marks or foundry marks to be found. The figurine is executed in a mid-century modern style.
