A cast glass "Jenny Lind" compote, approx. 7-1/8"H x 8-3/4" in diameter at the lip. The stem of the compote is cast in the form of as bust of the famous actress and is finished in an acid-etched matte surface. The underside of the base also has some matte finish accenting the flower decorations. Made by Adams & Co., Pittsburgh, PA, ca. 1870's.
