This lot includes: three Wedgwood green jasperware items a teapot with lin, sugar and creamer, all decorated with Classical figures, putti and mother and child motifs in white relief; the teapot measures approx. 3-1/2"T x 6-1/2"W, sugar with lid measures approx. 3"T x 4"W, creamer is 2"T x 4-3/4"W; all three are marked with an incised "Wedgwood" mark; also included in the lot are two Jasperware style items: a tall creamer, approx. 4-1/2"T, and another lidded sugar, approx 3"T x 5-1/2"W, these items are not marked "Wedgwood" but are a nice accompaniment to the first three items.

1044. A Large KPM Tankard with a Pewter Hinged Lid
A large KPM tankard in a clear/brown glaze with bright cobalt blue raised dots on two sides, and with raised and incised decorations overall, including bands of grape clusters and a large face at the front of the neck. Overall the tankard measures approx. 19-1/2"H x 8" in diameter at the widest point. It is marked on the underside "KPM" and the orb in tan and the staff mark in blue underglaze.

1046. A Cowan Pottery Glazed Ceramic Candlestick for the Rowfant Club, ca. 1925
A candlestick for the Rowfant Club of Cleveland, signed underneath by R. C. Cowan, number 2 of 156 copies, titled and dated in green, in the shape of a groundhog holding a candleholder with an open book with the inscription "Bright Seeking Light Doth Light of Light Beguile". It is glazed in pine green mottled matte glaze and measures 9"H. Designed by Frank Nelson Wilcox (Cleveland School, 1887-1964) and produced from 1912-1931. Similar to the 1903 candlestick made by Tiffany Studios in 1903. The making of candlesticks began in early 1894 when each member was charged to "appear at the annual convocation bearing a candlestick with his name attached thereto in autograph". The Rowfant Club is an exclusive Cleveland, Ohio, men's bibliophilic organization started in 1892.

An amusing vintage creamware Toby jug, undetermined date, in the Pratt colors, measuring approx. 10-1/4"H x 4-1/8"W x 4-3/4"D without the handle. Toby is seated on a green base with the handle in the same green at his back. He wears a black tricorn hat, ochre coat and taupe britches. The jovial man has blue eyes, a red mouth and holds a cobalt blue frothy jug of ale. It is inscribed on the underside and with "RP".

A striking cheese platter and dome by Blakeney Pottery (England) with a molded tray, 11-1/4" in diameter, impressed mark on the underside and a molded 8"H dome with a handle at the top. The inside of the platter and the outside of the dome are decorated in a vivid cobalt blue over the white stoneware with scenes of babes in the woods.
