An onyx bead necklace, knotted between the beads on a black thread, with a 14K yellow gold clasp, approx. 16"L open, made with forty-four (44) 7 mm onyx beads. There is an unmarked gold-tone Victorian locket attached with a bale in the center of the necklace, 1-1/4" x 7/8" with an oval yellow faceted stone, possibly a citrine, surrounded by a carved oval border in either onyx or jet, with a carved foliate design on the clipped corner locket.
