A Retro Period pin in the form of a chick hatching from an eggshell, measuring approx. 1-1/4"H x 1"W, in 14K pink gold, ca. 1940-50. The body of the bird is set with 3mm pearls, the eye is set with a faceted ruby, and the shell is embellished with 12 diamonds set in a white gold zig-zag shape. There is a 14K mark under the shell. Weight 11.2 gm.
