A late 19th century Kutani tazza, approx. 6-3/4"H x 9-3/8" at the widest, elaborately hand decorated in brown, turquoise, blue, yellow and pinks. The central design is an Imperial "Mon" (chrysanthemum) with sixteen petals, as a tribute to the Emperor. On either side of the Mon are Ho Ho Birds and Keri plants (the national emblem of Japan). 150/250 Sold $120.75 back to catalog |
