A petite French style slant front writing desk, with cabriole legs, curing front drawer, three small interior drawers. The exterior is decorated with inlaid wood patterns and meandering flower sprigs, and ornate brasses at the knees, feet, and escutcheon. The interior appears to be made of a heavily grained wood similar to the grain of ash, and has some faux worming. The finish on the exterior is a rich brown color and a matte gloss. Overall the desk measures 26-1/2"W x 15"D x 32"H. 20th Century made.
