A wooden gaming table and four chairs, the table with a swiveling hinged top with a high gloss lacquer finish and covered with inlaid wood decorations. The interior compartment of the table is veneered in burled wood. The table measures 35-1/2" square open x 30-1/2"H, and stands on four waisted tapering legs, also with inlay decoration. The ends of the apron feature matching inlay. The four darker wooden chairs are made in a shape recalling an Empire style, with an ope barrel back, four slightly tapering splayed legs, approx. 19"W x 18"D x 35-1/2"H. Each features scrolling decorations of inlaid wood around the interior and a birdseye figured wood around the outside. The seat cushions are upholstered in an ivory trellis pattern fabric. 20th century made.
