Baluster form mixed metal lantern with a straight ring foot and figurative neck, reticulated throughout the mid section. Decorated with traditional Islamic/Persian elements including stylized foliage, intricate borders, and arabesques. Mid section features six elongated medallions with Islamic calligraphy and foliage motifs. The metals appear to be brass with copper and silver overlays. Overall the lantern measures approx. 10"T x 6-1/2"W.
