Circular base with beveled tapered stem ascending to a carved bone/ivory ball carved in sections with religious motifs; surmounted with a steep sided bowl with gold wash interior, exterior engraved with "VERE EST EST POTUS + SANGUIS MEUS"; weighted base engraved "Father Don/ In token of our love on the occasion of your ordination/ Mother, Dad and BOB/ March 26, 1955." and "Gilles Beaugrand Inc./ Orfevres/ Montreal Canada." Stamped on the side: "Beaugrand Sterling". Measures approx. 7"T x 5-3/4"W at the base. Gold wash matching offering plate is unmarked and measures approx. 5-3/4"W. Both are nested in a fitted travel case with handle.
