1158. A Contemporary Cameo Glass Vase by Grant
A contemporary cameo glass vase, made by Grant, with the artist's name etched on the underside, approx. 8-1/4"H x 3"D. The glass itself grades from a teal color to a rose color at the top and a lustre overlay. It has an acid-etched matte finish around the designs, which are in the glossy lustre finish. The designs are stylized pictographs of figures, snakes, animals and geometric patterns, some of which resemble Egyptian symbols and some Aztec. The lip is also in the lustre finish.
