A matched set of framed printed portraits with hand coloring, each in brown velvet with metal frame, approx. 5" x 4-1/2". Then, four small oval portraits, two in ivory or bone frames, two with tortoise shell celluloid decorations, each ranges from 3-1/2"T to 4", and 3" to 3-1/2"W.

The larger and most attractive of this group of lots is in a French style gilt metal frame, unsigned, overall approx. 4" x 3". The second fashion portrait of a lady with upswept hair, unsigned in a simple frame/pin, back marked "Davenport", approx. 2-1/2" x 2". The third depicts a woman in elaborate outfit in Empire bar pin frame, approx. 2-1/2" x 2-1/4".

200. Two Hand Painted Oval Miniature Portraits of Young Gypsy Women
The larger depicts a 3/4 portrait of a young woman, in liner frame, unsigned, approx. 4-3/4" x 3-1/2". The smaller portrait of a woman in headdress has impressed mark on verso, signature not found, set into brass liner and black metal case, with detached stand, overall approx. 5-3/4" x 5", porcelain approx. 3" x 2-1/2".
