15. An Archiastic Style Pottery Bowl and Lamp
An archiastic style pottery bowl and a Kashan style tortoise pottery oil lamp, each glazed in almost a faience blue/green, the bowl measuring approx. 7" in diameter x 3-1/4"H and the oil lamp 3-1/4" in diameter x 3"H, with a hemispherical reservoir pinched into a beak-shaped spout above a dished circular foot. Purchased from another Cleveland auction house in the early 1990's.

18. Ban Chiang Stem-Cups, North Thailand, ca. 1000-300 BCE
The first with a wide flaring mouth and rounded bottom, the body painted with linked spirals, the second with an ovoid body with a wide mouth and supported on a pedestal foot, decorated with a dense pattern of ovals, spirals, saw-tooth bands, vertical lines and panels of dashes. Approx. 10-1/2" to 10" each.

A pot, fashioned in bronze with a silvered finish, of bulbous squat shape with a 1" neck and flaring lip, on a 1/2" foot. The exterior of the vessel is embellished with incised and hammered intricate designs and figures. Overall it measures approx. 5-1/2"H x 6-1/2" in diameter at the widest point.
