1077. A Lot of Four Japanese Woodblock Prints in Colors


A lot of four Japanese woodblock prints in colors, including "Actors Segawa Tomisaburo II as Yadorigi, Wife of Ogishi Kurando and Nakamura Man'yo as the Maid Wakakusa" by Sharaku (later printing), with no borders, a few creases lat the lower right, loss at the upper right corner, approx. 12-1/4" 8"; a Kabuki actor with sword raised by Kunisada, approx. 13-3/8" x 9-1/8" with no borders, creases, stains, repairs to worming and other losses; a Kabuki actor on a balcony, by Kunisada, approx 13-1/4" x 9-3/8", with repairs to worming and other damage, creases, losses to edges; and a Kabuki actor outside a house, approx. 13-1/8" x 9-1/4", possibly by Kunisada or by Kunichika (1835-1900), with water stains, creases, some losses, tip glued in the corners to another sheet.
