An antique dressing table with an Oriental-inspired design, finished in black lacquer with gilt and polychrome hand painted designs depicting Oriental figures in a garden setting. The interior is clad in blue paper and blue silk, with a mirror inset into the underside of the hinged lid. It stands on four legs connected by bracket feet and a turned stretcher. The legs are also turned to suggest bamboo knuckles. There is also one small drawer at the front with gilt designs. Overall it measures approx. 17-3/8"W x 12"D x 32"H.
