| 462. A Partial Set of Fruit Flatware
A partial set of fruit flatware in silver plate with mother of pearl handles, including five 7-1/2" fruit knives with engraved blades and mother of pearl handles, and six 6" three-tine matching forks. The knives are marked made by Hukin & Heath, Birmingham & London, ca. 1880. The flatware comes in an attractive wooden case with a hinged lid, inset brass shield shape in the top, inset brass shield shaped escutcheon, and velvet and silk clad interior. There is a small celluloid label on the lip of the box from Pearce & Sons Manufacturers, Huddersfield, Leeds, Leicester. 100/200 Sold $132.25 back to catalog |
