A pastel portrait of a lady with her spaniel, artist unkown, probably a copy of an oil portrait, with the name DeTroy in the lower left, family crest at the upper left, the sight size approx. 23-1/2" x 19-3/4", matted with a black mat and framed in a gilt frame under glass overall approx. 30-1/2" x 26-1/2". There are French newspaper pieces affixed to the back and the name "Duchess of Hamilton" written in pencil. After the painting by George Romney in the Frick Collection.
