A magnificent enameled porcelain plaque signed T. Leroy, in a circular convex form, with the portrait, possibly of Francis I of France, in the center surrounded by an elaborate band of border, with polychrome enamels, some with foil underlay and with fancy gilt detailing all around, framed with a green velvet mat in a wide gilt frame in the Palladian pattern. The plaque measures approx. 20" in diameter and the framing measures approx. 33-1/2" x 33-1/2".
