An excellent Satsuma vase, Kinkozan, approx. 10"H, with a cobalt blue background richly embellished with minute gilt designs and with rectangular panels on either side depicting warriors and courtly scenes in landscapes, all beautifully painted with subtle colors and designs on a cream background with gilt. Marked in iron red characters on the underside.
