A pair of circular Royal Vienna porcelain plaques set in cast brass frames, the porcelains measuring 5-1/2" in diameter, with each decorated with an allegorical landscape with figures surrounded by an orchid color border with gilt enamel detailing, and each inscribed in German on verso and marked with impressed marks and the blue shield (beehive) mark. The plaques are in pierced cast brass frames with a deep relief and applied ornaments, overall approx. 14" x 14".
