988. Three Gilt Bronze Figural Wall Sconces Three handsome gilt bronze wall sconces, each with two candle arms and sockets, approx. 15"H x 13"W x 7" projection. Each has a split columnar back with a pineapple design at the bottom, and bands of leaves, scrolls and acanthus cast or etched into the various sections. The upper portion has a shell motif above which is a scrolled strap with a floral design, surmounted by a cherub's head. The candle arms and sockets are similarly decorated. Each socket has a small pull chain that drops through the bobeche. (One chain is lacking the tiny ball at the end) 400/800 |

991. A Chinese Porcelain Vase Made Into a Lamp Base A Chinese porcelain vase made into a lamp base with the addition of a carved wood base, electrical wiring, socket and harp; without a shade. The porcelain vase has a boubous body tapering up to a tall neck, approx. 10" in height; overall to the top of the socket it measures 14".
